Sign PDFs and fill in forms on your device

Add your signature to a contract or fill in an application form, without uploading the document or creating an account with an e-signature service.

How to sign a PDF

  1. Open Sign & Fill and drop in a PDF.
  2. Create a signature by drawing it, typing it, or uploading an image (a transparent PNG works best).
  3. Go to the page, click Add signature here, drag and resize it, then press Apply & Download.

Why use PDF Tools Pro

Draw, type or upload

Use a mouse, touchscreen or pen, type your name, or upload a picture of your handwritten signature.

Any page, any position

Place the signature on as many pages as you need, then drag and resize it to fit the line.

Fill PDF forms

The Fill Form tab reads the form's fields so you can type in your answers, then optionally flatten the form so values can't be changed.

Stays on your device

Your signature and document are never uploaded.

Free and Pro

Free plan: 3 signed or filled documents a month. Pro is unlimited and can save signatures for reuse. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Questions

Is this a legally binding e-signature?

It adds a visual signature, like signing a printout. Whether that is enough depends on the document and your country. It is not a certificate-based digital signature.

Is my signature stored online?

No. It is created and applied on your device.

What does flattening a form do?

It turns the filled-in fields into regular page content, so the values can no longer be edited.

Can I sign on a phone or tablet?

Yes. You can draw your signature with your finger or a stylus in the browser.
